NEW at Maybelline NZ | Part 2

Continue from the LAST POST, after introducing all the eye products from all the new Maybelline NZ range, here are some lip and cheek products that recently launched in New Zealand too.

Contour contour contour!! I'm sure every single brand has been catching up the contour and highlight trend now, if not then they definitely should have already. No surprise Maybelline caught up with the trend quickly, from only having a few bronzers (a bit too warm to contour), to now having a dedicated contour and highlight compact called Face Studio Master Sculpt. The contour colour is not too ward or too ashy to contour, which is a perfect easy to use product for everyone. And the highlighter shade is a gorgeous shimmery beige that is super fine and looks natural on the skin (the perfect #strobing kinda highlight colour! Being only $19.99 NZD, I'd highly recommend everyone to try it out.
It does contain a sculpting brush in the underneath layer, although I found it doesn't blend out the products enough and I'd still prefer using my own brushes. I got the shade 01 Light/Medium and definitely could go a shade darker.

The ColorSensational Lipsticks from Maybelline are always one of my faves from drugstore lipstick range. These new Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipsticks are rather a slightly sheer satin finish compared to the other versions of Color Sensational. 730 Orchid Ecstasy and 735 Rose Rush are totally my shade, although the other three colours look slightly washed out for my skin tone and a little bit hard to pull off. If you're a satin finish lippie girl, you should definitely give these a go!

I bet you've all tried the original Maybelline Baby Lips tinted lip balm right? These new Baby Lips Candy Wow are in a retractable crayon shape, which in my opinion is cuter packaging than the original tinted lip balm, and a bit easier to apply as well due to the skinner tip. The colours are sheer, and super hydrating and glossy, therefore they're something you can just grab and put on in car and wouldn't have to worry to apply it precisely. They smell just as good as the original tinted lip balms, and only $6.99 NZD each! I'd totally wear this on a minimal makeup day or even no makeup days.

Have you guys tried any of these new products from Maybelline? If so what's your thoughts on them? Comment down below to share with everyone! xx
