HUGE American Makeup Haul | Part 1

If you guys have watched a lot of my videos, you would know that I buy 90% of my makeup from USA. I use a parcel forwarding company to receive my parcels in USA and they repack and ship to New Zealand. If you don't know what parcel forwarding is, or want to read more about it, you can find out through the link HERE.

WHAT I GOT »

MAC x Nordstrom Naturals Eyeshadow Palette (Nordstrom Exclusive)
I don't have many MAC Eyeshadows before this purchase (only had 4 as brow powders in my freelance kit). The reason was MAC eyeshadows are $10 USD a pan in USA, and for cheaper prices I would rather pay to get some Makeup Geek or other brands single eyeshadow pans. But with this deal and only paying US$80 for the whole 15 eyeshadows that are best seller MAC eyeshadows on Nordstrom, I just couldn't hold myself back! One thing that you need to know is that the pans are not magnatiseable like other single shadow pans from MAC, but this doesn't really bother me as I like how everything is in this specific pan and order.

MAC Lip Pencil in 'Soar'
The very popular Kylie Jenner lip pencil that was sold out everywhere for a while, I finally remember to pick it up this time! The colour is a deep mauvey pink that lines your lips really smoothly, and the pigmentation is amazing that you can overdraw your lips a lot more than other neutral shades. This lip pencil definitely worth all that hype.

MAC Blush in 'Melba' & MAC Blush in 'Peaches'
It's hard to believe but I've never owned any MAC blushes until now. It's strange that recently I'm more into matte natural shade blushes rather than blushes with a slight sheen, so I went to two of their best seller matte blushes in 'Melba' and 'Peaches'. 'Melba' is such a wearable colour on all different light and medium skin tone and just look so natural yet flattering, now I would highly recommend this blush to anyone! Peaches is just a pinch brighter but still a wearable natural shade, the formula is not as pigmented as 'Melba' but still super easy to apply. In love with both of these

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in '5.5' (Sephora sample)
Lucky enough to get a 5ml free deluxe sample I haven't used this foundation yet, waiting to do a first impression on camera.

NARS All Day Luminous Foundation in 'Stromboli'
I've been attempted to buy this foundation for ages as I love the NARS Sheer Glow in 'Stromboli'. I asked your guys opinion of this foundation on Instagram and finally decided to get it. I still haven't used it due to planning to film a first impression too. So glad they have pump included on the bottle instead of having to buy a separate one like Sheer Glow and Sheer Matte!

Buxom Love, Dolly Limited Edition Full-Bodied Lipstick (Sephora points redeemed)
Another deluxe sample redeemed by my Sephora points. I've had another Buxom mini lipstick before from Sephora Lip Favourites Kit, they're super creamy and pigmented, so of course I went ahead and got another shade for free when I had a chance ;)

NARS Larger Than Life Long-wear Eyeliner in 'Via Veneto'NARS Satin Lip Pencil in 'Rikugien' NARS Matte Lip Pencil in 'Cruella' (Sephora VIB Rouge Birthday Gift)
Last year's Sephora Birthday Gift was a lipstick and a mascara from Makeup Forever. I'm super excited that this year is NARS products. For Sephora VIB you get the two lip pencils, and being VIB Rouge you get a bonus mini eyeliner pencil too. Super stocked to finally have my own NARS satin and matte lip pencils!!

  1. I had to repurchase my Nars Sheer Glow the other day, and I was given a sample of the All Day Luminous, and it was really good! I'll be buying it after I use up all my Sheer Glow, for sure! x

  2. That parcel forwarding idea is such a good idea, i'm in the US and have a Etsy store and a lot of my business comes from outside the US, i'm going to recommend it since I don't ship secure with tracking.

  3. That's good to know! It's been so hard not trying to use my NARS All Day Luminous just for the sake of the first impression video that I'm about to film. I better film it just after weekend otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep waiting haha! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it Hannah x

  4. It's only worth it if you're buying a bit of stuff from US though, the bigger the parcel the more discount there is, kind of. For a mini box of goodies the shipping price is still a bit steep

  9. Such a great haul! The MAC palette is amazing value, especially when you look at how much their eyeshadows cost in Aus and NZ! Melba and Peaches are both gorgeous shades that I'd love to try! The VIB bday gift is so great this year! I wish I could get my hands on it :(

  12. Great haul! And you are braver than me, buying items sight unseen! Plus, here you are susceptible to have your parcels stopped at the borders and the resulting tax is almost 50% of the value! O.o

Melba is great, I am sure that you are loving it. In fact it was my first mac item ever!

  15. That's why we look up online swatches and video reviews :) And surprisingly I've never got charged import tax ever when I buy makeup from overseas even though a few orders I've made were pretty damn huge... Lucky aye!
