I'm sure most of you were quite familiar with Smashbox Full Exposure. So many people used to compare Smashbox Full Exposure with Lorac Pro. I was one of those chose Lorac Pro out of the two and I'm so happy that I made that decision. Although I saw Smashbox came out with a mini version of Full Exposure, the price and the size are just so encouraging and here I am...
Packaging wise I don't even know how to tell you how happy I am when I actually opened the box. It's extremely small and thin and at the same time contains 8 eyeshadow shades. Hands down this is the most compact eyeshadow palette I've seen! Not to mention it also contains a mirror on the lid! Therefore for those who travels a lot, you need to get this!
Now when comes down to swatches. These shadows are truly pigmented and buttery. I love when a palette has same amount of shimmers and mattes, so you really can create so many different look without reaching for any extra palettes.
Although one thing I dislike about this palette is the first two shimmer shades are way too glittery! This is surely a neutral style palette, but putting that much of glitter (a little bit chunky too) in the top row isn't the best idea.
Also for the matte shades, both brown are a tad too dark, and could you imagine how hard it would be to work on pale girls. Wouldn't it be better if they have a lighter matte brown and a darker one? Instead of two medium brown one being warm tone and one cool tone shade.
Overall I think this is such a cute idea of putting 8 eyeshadows in such a little packaging. The pigmentation and texture of the shadows are premium, although colour selection needs a bit extra work. I would definitely recommend this palette to those who loves travel or want to try out Smashbox's eyeshadow like me. Otherwise if you're extremely happy with your current neutral eyeshadow palette, I would say just give it a pass.
