Posie Sisters: Benefit PosieTint & PosieBalm Review & Swatches

Benefit launched their new Hydrating Tinted Lip Balms in United States not long ago, and they just came to stores in New Zealand 5 days ago. I've always loved my mini Posie Tint and Chacha Tint from "Little Love Potion" (not available any more but super similar to "Beauty Score" kit) and "Tropicoral Lip & Cheek Kit" (click HERE to see my review & swatches) that I got from Sephora, so I couldn't be more excited when Benefit NZ sent me these gorgeous babies...

Posie Tint is a poppy pink lip stain and also cheek tint at the same time. This gorgeous light pink color is so natural that is great for an everyday makeup look either as a blush or lip color. Once it's dry, it will stay on your cheek or lips all day so it would be a great product to add to your summer makeup routine (we're getting into spring here in New Zealand, summer is just around the corner).

Posie Balm is a poppy pink tinted lip balm. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous the packaging of this tinted lip balm is?! The formula is super hydrating, while giving you a hint of cute pink color. It glides on like melted butter, seriously the best formula tinted lip balm I've tried. The pigmentation of this tinted lip balm is quite sheer, but it's buildable if you want slightly more color on your lips. I didn't expect I would agree that a "high end" tinted lip balm was worth buying (compared to the drugstore brands ones which are extremely low price), until I see the difference of quality and packaging. Now I'm totally sold to these new tinted lip balms and want more!

For both products, the color are both light pink but definitely more on the warmer side than their sisters Lolli Tint and Lolli Balm.

Swatches on my bare skin are shown below:

What are your guys' thoughts on Benefit's new tinted lip balm? Have you tried them yet or are they sitting in your wishlist? Have you tried any of Benefit Tints and which one is your favourite?

    1. Yes yes same here!! I was worried that the tinted lip balm would be too pale and makes me look washed out but it actually look super nice on my lips cause it's sheer. I want to get the rest of them now...

  5. I love Posie Tint, such a pretty colour. I only wear it on my cheeks though as I have found it really makes my lips look dry.

    1. I mainly wear it on the cheeks as a blush. I've tried on lips and yes I found they get caught on dry patches quite easy, so I just put a drop on finer tip and then gently pat onto my lips. This way it goes on more sheer and looks really natural. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Zoe :)
