Essie Spring 2014 Mini Collection

I have had quite a few Essie nail polish before in my nail polish collection. But this actually the first time I bought Essie's new season collection minis. I feel like the Essie 2014 Spring Collection is the first time I like every single color in the mini collection and wanted to get this the first time I lied my eyes on them online...

Essie Spring Collection Mini
Left to Right: Style Hunter, Romper Room, Fashion Playground, Hide & Go Chic

Style Hunter is a raspberry creme. Look more like a hot pink in the bottle but more red when swatched. Really pigmented, one coat can have a full coverage even.

Romper Room is a pale pink creme. The color is similar to Essie Fiji but slightly more pale. Because it's such a pale pink, the consistency is a bit sticky and you need about 3 coat to get good coverage.

Fashion Playground is a light green with some almost hidden refined glitter. You almost can't tell it contains glitter until you look really close to the swatches, and I didn't even know they had any when just looking at the bottle. I got this collection pretty much for this colour, and I absolutely looooove it!! The formula is opaque and smooth, this is one of my favourite mint green at the moment.

Hide & Go Chic is a bold azure blue creme. It is a slightly dark colour for spring collection, but the amount of cold tone in this makes it work for the spring & summer time. The pigmentation is amazing just like "Style Hunter", one or two coats is definitely enough.

Overall I'm really happy with my first mini collection purchase. I love every single colour in this collection, so money well spent! :)

    1. I don't know how the new season collection works in New Zealand and Australia aye, like wouldn't the 2014 summer collection in US becomes the 2015 summer collection in Southern Hemisphere? I never paid attention at our local store haha

    1. EXACTLY!!! I wish you can just buy regular size and mini size for every single shade from all the brands, that would be awesome! You get to try more colours and more likely be able to finish them before they dries out!
