Benefit Tropicoral Review & Swatches

This is one of the gift I received from Sophie, she's another girl from Christchurch in New Zealand through making YouTube video (her channel can be found HERE). I've wanted to try a few of these things from this Tropicoral Kit for a very long time, and here we go. Thanks to Sophie...

Benefit Tropi Coral Swatches
Left to Right: High Beam, Cha Cha Tint, CORALista Powder, CORALista Lip Gloss
High Beam is a liquid highlighter. This luminizer is a pink shimmer instead of gold, which is different to the ones I normally use. The pigmentation is great although I found this a bit hard to blend.

Cha Cha Tint is a liquid cheek & lip tint. I bet you guys know that I'm obsessed with coral and orange blushes. I personally suit coral blushes a lot more than pink colours due to my skin tone. This tint is really pigmented, although easy to blend everything out at the same time. The colour is very long lasting because it actually stains! I'm in love with Cha Cha Tint now!

CORALista Box Powder is a shimmery light peachy blush. It's not as pigmented as I expected. Personally I would use this as a highlighter on top of my cheekbone when using another coral / peachy blush such as Cha Cha Tint. The shimmer in this product is so gorgeous though, just the right amount of light reflecting, makes your cheeks looking really healthy and glowy in a good way.

CORALista Lip Gloss is a coral lip gloss. Just like most of other Benefit lip gloss, this is a really liquidy and non-sticky formula lip gloss. Has a good amount of color but still sheer at the same time due to the formulation. This is such a easy colour to wear for summer time.

Conclusion:
I'm a coral person instead of pink when comes to cheek products, so this little kit definitely got my heart. All the products in this kit works well together for a whole look, apart from High Beam, I've had another High Beam from another Benefit Kit for ages but never liked it. Apart  from that I love the other three products from this kit a lot! And the little brush came with this is actually great for contouring too, bonus!

  1. I don't have any of these products from Benefit...so a kit like this would be great to try it all out! The only thing I wouldn't use in here is the lip gloss...everything else seems good! Thanks for the review!

    1. They have so many different kits at Sephora! It's definitely a good way to try a bunch of Benefit's products instead of risking to buy a bunch of full size products since they're not that cheap

    1. I would recommend you to try High Beam at counters yourself first! I have trouble blending High Beam on my cheekbones, I've tried it so many times but every time it just doesn't work for some reason. I need to get some tips from some other girls!

  8. God, I love coralista, so this kit looks amazing! It seems like SunBeam would have made more sense for this kit than highbeam, though...

    1. Yea I really don't get the idea having a pink highlighter which is cool toned in this coral kit... Would love to have a gold undertone highlighter instead!

  10. I have this kit as well, and despite how much I love coral, I was a little underwhelmed. I found both of the liquid products very hard to blend, and Coralista really sheer to the point it barely showed up on me - aside from the shimmer, which I do admit is really pretty. It didn't live up to the hype for me unfortunately.

    1. I do fund HighBeam hard to blend for me but ChaCha Tint is a piece of cake! I use brush instead of fingers for the tint, maybe try it with some different brushes? And yes Coralisa powder blush is a lot more sheer than I expected, that's why I use it as a highlighter on cheeks now :)
