Classic Winged Eyeliner & Ombre Lips | HOLIDAY Makeup Tutorial #3

This is the 3rd HOLIDAY makeup tutorial I created for 2013. Just a classic Winged Eyeliner look with Red Ombre Lips. Ombre Lips are super in trend this year, and red lips are the holiday MUST HAVE. So I sorta put them together and created this. I hope you guys enjoy this quick (and hopefully easy as well with the tape techniques for the eyeliner) tutorial...

Have a lovely lovely Christmas!!! ♥

P.S. Still 1 more HOLIDAY LOOK is on the way, the New Years Eve look will be up in 3 days. Sneak Peek: something smokey ;)

Holiday Makeup Look #1: Gold & Purple Eyes

Holiday Makeup Look #2: Easy Christmas Look using ALL DRUGSTORE Products

Pictorial for This Winged Eyeliner & Ombre Lips:

STEPS:

  1. Apply tape between the end of eye to the end of eyebrow.
  2. Take NAKED2 from Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette using Sigma E40, buff into crease to darken the crease.
  3. Take W.O.S from Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette using Sigma E55, pat over eyelid to neutralize eyelid skin color.
  4. Take FAINT from Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette using Sigma E25, define the crease even more and also blend out all the harsh lines at the same time.
  5. Apply Liquid Eyeliner (using tape as a guideline helps a lot), the one I'm using is Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black. Details of application see my VIDEO below.
  6. Apply false lashes, the one I'm using is Red Cherry #43.
  7. Apply mascara to bottom lashes, I'm using Maybelline the Falsies Mascara here.
  8. Apply white eyeliner to lower waterline to make eyes appear larger, the one I'm using is Wet N Wild ColorIcon Eyeliner Pencil in White (super affordable and creamy). I'm not applying any dark color to the lower lash line so all the attention is focused on top liner.

  8. Fascinating. Your tutorial was spot on and gave terrific tips. Tape to create the winged look is a great idea. I always create a cat eye, subtle for day and more dramatic for the evening and special occasions. Tape will assist me when I just have to get it perfect in a short amount of time. Thank you.
